Nadda Stays On: BJP Chief’s Tenure Extended Till June Amidst Lok Sabha Focus

New Delhi, India: J.P. Nadda is set to continue as the BJP National President until June this year, as confirmed by party sources. The extension of Nadda’s tenure, initially decided during the National Executive meeting last year, received approval at the recent National Council meeting.

The decision, made in anticipation of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, grants Nadda the authority to make significant decisions, subject to later approval by the party’s Parliamentary Board. The National Convention meeting also saw unanimous acceptance of proposed amendments to certain provisions of the party’s constitution, presented by BJP National General Secretary Sunil Bansal.
